Terms of Service

Tovel is a personal, markdown-native workspace — notes, tasks, projects, contacts and the money that sits on your work — provided by Digital Lemonade BV. We may improve and change features over time.

You need an account to use Tovel. Keep your login details secure and let us know if you suspect unauthorised access. You're responsible for activity under your account.

Tovel starts with a 14-day free trial — no credit card required. After the trial, Tovel is €10 per month or €96 per year (billed through Stripe once paid plans go live). There is no free tier.

You can cancel any time; your access continues until the end of the period you've paid for. Prices may change in future, and we'll give you notice before any change affects you.

You own everything you create in Tovel. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and process your content so we can run the service for you. You're responsible for your content and for having the right to store it.

You can export your full workspace to markdown at any time, including when you stop using Tovel.

Don't use Tovel to break the law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt, abuse or gain unauthorised access to the service or other users' data. We may suspend accounts that do.

We work hard to keep Tovel reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

To the extent permitted by law, Digital Lemonade BV isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data beyond what you can recover through your own exports. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

You can stop using Tovel and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached. Either way, you keep the right to export your data.

We may update these terms; we'll change the “last updated” date and, for significant changes, notify you by email. Continuing to use Tovel after a change means you accept the updated terms.
